Chemical Resistance |
TEFPLASTM materials are made for harsh environments. They provide excellent performance in the submerged application.
The filler in the TEFPLASTM B material may be corroded by deionized water or other strong chemicals; while TEFPLASTM G and E materials are inert to almost all chemicals.
The standard shell material of precision linear bearings is anodized aluminum CSB-LIN® P. It is good chemical resistant in most industrial applications. The option of #316 stainless steel shell is a good choice for environments with strong corrosive chemical liquids.
