Plastic ball bearing is a kind of precision mechanical part, which can turn the sliding friction between the shaft and the bearing seat hole into rolling friction. It reduces energy loss due to friction. Rolling bearings are usually composed of four parts: inner ring, outer ring, rolling elements and cage. The inner ring cooperates with the shaft and rotates with the shaft. The outer ring cooperates with the through hole as a support. The rolling elements are evenly distributed between the inner ring and the outer ring by the cage, and their shape, size and quantity directly affect the performance and life of the rolling bearing. The cage should distribute the rolling elements evenly, prevent the rolling elements from falling off and guide the rolling elements to rotate, so as to achieve rolling lubrication between the shaft and the housing.


Plastic ball bearings are used to support the shaft and parts on the shaft, and maintain the normal working position and rotation accuracy of the shaft. Rolling bearings are easy to use and maintain, work reliably, start smoothly, and have high carrying capacity at medium speeds. Compared with sliding bearings, the required radial dimension is larger, the vibration damping ability is poor, the life is short at high speed, and the noise is large.

Plastic ball bearing structure:

1. Outer ring-installed in the shell, usually not moving;

2. Inner ring-installed on the journal and rotate with the shaft;

3. Rolling elements-the core elements of rolling bearings;

4. The cage and rolling elements should be evenly separated to avoid mutual friction.

At present, lubricants are also considered as the fifth component of rolling bearings, mainly for lubrication, cooling and cleaning.
