EPB5Z plastic plain bearings can be used in auto throttles
The throttle of a motor vehicle determines the load on the engine during idling and motion by controlling the fuel spray pulse width and ignition timing.
The throttle flap valve controls the size of the air intake, and the level of engine power, via a transducer. Throttles tend to accumulate large amounts of dirt from air pollution and poor fuel quality, and the combustion of gasoline can also cause buildup of carbon deposits. Due to the effect of negative pressure, this foreign matter will affect throttle action; for instance, a throttle that closes poorly will allow excessive air flow, which together with signal transmission errors will cause high fuel consumption and shaking when the engine is idling. Apart from the buildup of contaminants in the throttle valve, failure of the valve rotation bearings should not be ruled out as a contributing cause of these problems;
